Eastern Wyoming Public Land DIY Pronghorn
I shot this pronghorn a few days ago on state land. First time pronghorn hunt and definitely not the last. I'll be back. Most hunters were driving around and glassing however the pronghorn on public land were way off the roads and usually not visible from the roads. Walked in to high areas, used binoculars to locate the pronghorn. In this case they were about 2-3 miles away. Used the terrain to get close and eventually ended up with about a 100 yard shot with the 7 mm. He was with a doe and dropped on the spot. Had a friend hunting nearby (a few miles away) bring my sled in and we dragged him about 3 miles to get him out and back to the truck.

Beautiful buck and you did it exactly right! Seems like most guys expect to shoot one out the window, which I could never understand . They are fun to hunt!

Looks like a great hunt, I've had kind of had this type of hunt simmering on the back burner for a while and I really need to do it.
They say millwrights can fix anything except a broken heart, but I've even got a tool that can do that!

I love antelope hunting! We always hunted in zones 23 and 24.
