I'm doing it this year. Now I can be denied in two states. :lol: (Maine is the other)

Also in-laws in A.
And another close friend in B.

I have 7 Pref. points for NH Moose never tried to draw ,always banked. I have this years marked on my calendar and will get it in within the next few days.

Got it in just before the deadline yesterday. Always banked pref points the last 7 years. Put in for a few units this time. Declining population I hear with less tags but you never know.

A few years ago it was 500 tags or maybe 550 I forget.
Last year dropped to 275 I believe.
This year is 125 - Yikes!

Saw that yesterday. It's really dropping, due to a Winter Tick and weather being a big factor.

2013 N.H. Moose Hunt Highlights:

Largest bull: 920 lbs., (21 points, 55 inch spread, taken in WMU C2 by Greg Mendenhall of Florida


Largest cow: 690 lbs., taken by Scott Crathern of Hopkinton in C2.


Greatest antler spread: 62 inches, taken in C1 by Louis Gray of Washington State.


Oldest successful hunter: John Morse Sr., 81 years young, took a bull in A2 weighing 650 lbs.


Youngest hunter: Tyler Carson, age 10, took a 5-year old bull with a 42.5 inch antler spread in C1
