Wisconsin.
Montana. (I also guided big game hunters there for one season many years ago.)
Idaho.
South Dakota.
Colorado.

For whitetail, mule deer, elk, black bear, pronghorn antelope, bighorn sheep, and American bison, as well as some bird and small game hunting on the side, usually after tagging out on big game.

Next up? Hopefully Wyoming for antelope; I love those critters!

(Actually I love all of them but my knees are too far gone for any more serious mountain hunting.)

TN many wmas
KY a few public areas northeast KY.
WI a few public areas south Green,Rock County.

All 3 states were very different.
Swamp in wi
Tn hardwoods ,pines
Ky Riverbottom with crp fields with high steep hills around 2k feet in places.

Each definitely has it's own set of challenges.
Never give up Freedom for imagined safety.
