Whale Cod

Unread postby Spysar » Fri Mar 05, 2010 2:27 pm

I wanted to be the first one to post an ocean fish.

A cod over 50 lbs is called a whale cod. This one was 70 lbs. My biggest ever. And I released it alive and well. It's all on video too. I was stoked!

They closed the area this fish came from....

But it's for the better. It's a big fish spawn spot, and with the shape the fishery is in, it needs the protection..
