I have a small farm operation in southern Minnesota and I free range egg laying chickens on my pasture. I just saw a coyote circling my mobile chicken coop and was almost snuck up close enough to get a shot off before it disappeared in the woods.
I would like to set up on this spot at sun up tomorrow but I don’t have any coyote calls. What is the best method for luring this coyote back? Does anyone have luck with using their cell phone to call them in? Would I be better off setting a snare traps with bait? Should I do all of the above?
Thanks in advanced!!

The coyote was back this morning around 6am. I went down to open the coop and it ran away. I will be setting up on this guy tomorrow morning in the hopes it returns again.
