best affordable coyote light

Unread postby creepingdeth » Fri Jan 22, 2021 10:16 am

New coyote guy wanting to do some coyote hunting after dark in Mn. After trying to figure out regs. for MN., going to give it a shot. Looking for advice on best (affordable) headlamp, scope mount, or whatever. I see that some of the higher $( to me  ) lights are rechargable...are they junk or OK?? Any tips would be appreciated.

If you're wanting a night vision on the coyote cannon is hard to beat. If you're looking for a light to use with a shotgun, then I can't help you much there.

i like my scan pro head lamp and gun mounted light from wicked light co. they are a bit pricey but seem to be really good quality.

Last year you could use an IR light for night vision hunting, this was temporary though. This year they voted it down since people were worried about being able to see red spots lights. So you're correct that this year it's back to being illegal to use them.
