Wolves have passed through my area in SE WI multiple times. Nobody would ever believe it but locals got one on trail cams in two different areas and I found tracks in the snow one year while winter scouting. Likely just like the map above they were traveling across the state and not really stopping anywhere for long.

I’m south of portage even but yeah that’s crazy. Being hit by a car is crazy too.

I swear I found wolf tracks where I hunt on public land . I hunt between West Bend and Fond Du Lac. The trackless were 3 1/4" wide.

They pass through from time to time. I found a few sets in this area over the years.
