for a coyote!

No pics, as I didnt go pick the nasty thing up!

Was hunting for some does tonight overlooking a large green feild.
Had a coyote come out to the tree line at last light. Was bale to get a quick range,
drew a steady prone position rest on the bipods...wiley gets cracked!

I didnt want to walk all the way across that feild to look at it.
270 wsm with balastic tips really do a number on critters though!

PS: I know the thread is useless without pics, sorry.

Thanks! I agree with you. I just have pushed my freezer filling days to the limit I think. Have one week left in TN season. No venison has seen the inside of my truckbed or freezer yet! Been buck hunting like a mad man. Nothing has presented a shot that would "make me happy"

However, hearing the sound of the rifle going off at a distance where I could hear the bullet hit the ole dog sure makes me feel better about a tough season

Oh good! I was thinking maybe this post was going to be about you accidentally shooting a buck that had shed its antlers already
