MOBIGBUCKS strikes in Kansas!

Unread postby MOBIGBUCKS » Mon Apr 05, 2010 10:10 am

I shot this one in Kansas yesterday at 12:42. I have always been a believer in Mid-day action. He came into my decoys and I shot him at 12 feet! He had another Tom with him, but I could not get a shot at him. It would have been cool to get a double! He weighed 21 1/4 pounds, he had a 9 3/8 beard, and 1 inch spurs apiece. NWTF he scores 60 :)
I just seen the Turkey contest signup too....Oh well, I still have three tags between KS and MO :)

Must've been eastern Kansas cuz that looks like an Eastern. Nice bird though for sure.

Quick question, how hard is it to get on birds on public land in Missouri? I've wanted to try MO just to say that I've hunted there.
