New Property, New Buck........Please Score

Unread postby Stuart » Thu Aug 04, 2011 12:42 pm

This is a nice piece of property that is about a minute from my home and got access to it by just knocking on the door and he turned out to be one of the nicest guys I have met in a while. He has no problem with me hunting his land and I will make sure I get him something at the end of the season to thank him!

Please score this buck, thanks!!!

Nice buck and if your excited, don't worry about the score (but it is cool to dream :D ). If I were you, I would not show these pics to the land owner or anybody else in the area for that matter. If he doesn't know about bucks like this and finds out from your pics you might loose your spot to hunt. I could see him telling a good friend of his that hunts, hey you should see the buck the neighbor kid got pics of on my place. Loose lips sink ships...............
As for taking him something at the end of the year, that's what I do as well. I get permission with no strings attached and then put my own icing on the cake so to speak with a nice gesture at the end of the year.

Agree. 125 gross. They always look bigger in velvet ;)

Not a lot of mass, but I love the character.

Mid 130's gross.

Short brows and little mass but good tine length, main beams and spread.

Nothing wrong with shooting that deer at all. I'd shoot him.
