Deer of a lifetime

Unread postby Worm82 » Tue Nov 17, 2020 12:25 pm

I killed this deer sat 11-14-20 with a muzzleloader in washington co Tn. Not much of a story but my cousin had 1 pic of this buck in velvet a half mile away. I was hunting in one of his stands that morning and had seen 9 different does and fawns, I knew there had to be a buck around and 5 mins later a small 6pt came and ran all the does off down the holler. 30 mins later i look up and see a good buck straight downwind acting spooked, I put it on his shoulder and shot, he fell over and never moved. When I walked up I was shocked to see the droptines. I just sat there and thanked God and my dad who we lost at the end of August because I had asked them both to send me a good buck that morning.
11pt 170lbs dressed

Congrats on a good looking buck. Hope you doing a shoulder mount.
