Crawled to 56yds tonight on a buck. Ended up running out of light. He was 30yds away from my truck.

Haven’t seen any shooters on public land this year but found this shed today very close to an access trail. I probably walked by it half dozen times

I shot a tree last night. Only, I wasnt shooting at a tree. Fog was super thick and I heard the arrow deflect off of something halfway to him. Really nice mountain buck gets to live another day.

Didnt post this last night; I'm pretty sure my language would have been a bit too colorful.

I went scouting before my evening sit and at 330 pm yesterday a big mature buck was eating apples 60 yards away from me about 100 yards from my truck..I froze in my tracks and tried to slither back to my truck to grab my bow but he was gone when I returned.. was shocked to see a deer like that on his feet at 330 on a busy trail on public...I scouted, then returned and sat till dark and didnt see anything...a buddy also saw a mature buck one hour before dark yesterday..not sure what it is but the bucks seem to be moving...

Probably the big cold front pushing in. I saw deer on their feet at 2:30 yesterday as I was leaving work. Also saw 2 deer dead on the road yesterday. They are really starting to move!!
