Kicked satelite buck out on the way in he was blowing at me.

Hoping I didn't scare the ones bedded further down too bad.

Scouted my way in tonight to the edge of a small chunk of marshland off of a medium sized creek. Bumped what looked like a 1.5 y/o 6 point during my walk in in the cedars behind where I eventually set up. Got setup in a dying fir tree at the edge of the marsh adjacent to a tributary about 12 feet up, gave me a pretty good view. Kept wishing for a buck to stand up out of the grass but nothing materialized. Windy but beautiful night.

Wind was out of the southwest, strait a head of me. While a great cover wind for me, is this a wind bucks will bed out in the grass with? Creek is just before the tree line in the distance.

New to beast style and trying to get the kinks worked out. Night 2 in my saddle, starting to get used to it. Much more comfortable than the first night after some adjustments

Second sit of the year and second ever in the saddle.
Found 3 buck beds on the way in. Two were worn to the dirt and the grass one had really fresh poop in it. He was in that bed today. I may have even bumped him on the way in. Saw 2 small bucks, a doe and couple young ones.

I killed a monster last night in Pennsylvania. It was pretty late when I got home, so I put him in my buddy's walk in cooler. I'll take a bunch of pics today before skinning and post them.

From one south paw to the next,,,, Congrats!!!! Can't wait for pics!!

Came in to another good piece of public this morning with only my cell phone for light. Got to 60 yrds of my intended setup spot and could hear deer in front of me. I cut the light and could see 2 big black blobs up ahead working towards me. At about 30 yrds i threw my light on the closest one and realized he was posturing and walking right into me. I figured he was a 100 inch deer. He got to about 8 yrds before he figured out this wasn't right and bounded off. His buddy stayed at 40 yrds and i couldn't make out what for headgear he had with my cell phone light :?
I'm pretty sure i caught them on their way back to bed as i figure their bedding is only 150 yrds away. All in all a pretty cool experience!!
