Got the green light to hunt tomorrow afternoon.
Got the new bow back today from the cam recall.
It’s time for its maiden voyage.
Good luck everybody.

Ground assault this evening as I want to give my spot deep out in a marsh a breather for a few weeks. I was the first vehicle to the parking lot and as I was unloading a car pulled in and saw me and moved on. Unfortunately the wind puts me at a low spot on the edge of a small 1/2 acre marsh. All the traffic sticks to the CRP edge coming off the corn on private heading to the other corn and bean fields. Let’s hope the cool weather gets them on their feet a little early

All nestled in. Bumped an unknown deer not too far away from where I wanted to be. Wind is iffy and variable

Sitting in a swamp about 100 yds from known bedding off of a trail coming out. The wind is so quiet today that I am worried about pushing any further which leaves me sitting on the ground. Do I take the gamble?!

All set up for the evening. I hunted this spot 2 days ago and had 9 deer come under 20 yards. Checked a cam and the 2 big boys are still around but came through an hour after legal that night. Hoping cold weather gets them moving early.

On the ground tonight because it's too quiet and no tree to climb. Onx says I'm between 60 and 65 yards from a buck bed!

Damn doe came from a bed downwind of me and now she won’t shut up. If she comes close enough she’s getting stuck. She is working here way back and just won’t leave me be

Set up on a scrape that's been getting hammered. Been playing cat and mouse with a particular buck for about ten days now. He's beginning to become annoying. Needs to catch an arrow.

No dice this evening finding the buck I hit yesterday. The last blood I found was where he jumped a fence and went into a pasture field. I'm assuming hes going to live. An inch higher and he would've only gone 75 yards and tipped over... It sucks.
Anything worth doing, is worth over doing.
