Me and lil backstraps are headed to the velvet woods this evening!!

Really excited and feeling confident she’ll getta crack at one’

Its only a 3 day season and the remnants of the hurricane is blowing through tomorrow...BUT were gonna make the very best BEAST effort of killing one via Covid-muzzy!

Today marks two weeks until I start making the trek to Maryland a few days a week to hopefully kill an early season buck. I put a ton of miles on the boots scouting this summer, and have a pile of cameras soaking. I plan to pull all of the cameras by next weekend, and hopefully formulate a plan to kill one opening evening. I don't plan to be too terribly picky, and western MD public land isn't exactly known for big bucks. More or less just trying to see if I can get an early season, public land, buck killed in a state that I haven't hunted before.
Anything worth doing, is worth over doing.

I would be too but Laura had other plans.
We been having hard rain and wind all day.
Had a brief tornado this morning though it didn't hurt anything.

I'm going to hopefully hunt some tomorrow.

Gl out tonight.
