Got set up in the saddle at 9:00 on a good rut funnel about 100 yards from scrapes. 10:00 the 3x3 comes back through but let him walk. At 11:40 this guy comes through at 11 yards. Double lung and watched him fall. Got in two sits and planned for a week. First time in this area and couldn’t be happier.

Way to go Squatch!

Nice job killers!

In the tree.
Wind keeps switching from northwest to southeast then southwest to northeast.

Weather only predicted a northwest to southeast wind. Be a miracle to see anything.

Several fresh scrapes below me not a leaf in them. So somethings still using this.

Don’t ask me why, but I think you’re getting one tonight

Had one come in hot on a doe at 1030. I'm a sucker for tall tines.

Think i missed a giant for florida with my muzzy last night. No sign of a hit. Would have been my biggest by far. Ah well...been a heck of a season and was probably the best hunt i can remember having. Everything went as planned except for not bringing home the buck. Just happy to have had the opportunity.

Just a button buck showed tonight. Been seeing lots of those lately. They are dumbbbb

Likely my last hunt until gun season. Ah well I’m looking forward to the extended range and quality family time

DAD SCORED!!

So proud of him. He shoots my old bow with arrows I made for him and a stand we put up together in August. Buck went 30 yards. He is 74 years old, still shooting a vertical bow. It was cold and windy here today with snow this morning but he was out there. Just so happy for him.
