Can't believe I just let him go I know theres 2 150s in here.

Kicking myself but man that was exciting. Gotta pass on good bucks to kill great bucks. Still alot of time left.

Awesome,

Personally, I question your sanity, but I’m glad you’re ok with it!

Good luck!

Mr Dave you were right big boy never showed.
That was a really cool hunt kill or no kill.

Went into a new area that I scouted last spring. Lots of acorns falling. Pushed as close to bedding as I though I could, and ended up seeing six does. Not a bad evening all in all, just no bucks.

Nothing came out of the swamp tonight. Starting to think they are up in the hardwoods with the bumper acorn crop.

Decided to scout a new area with bow in hand. Corp of Engineer area around a big lake I fish.

Driving around I ended up seeing no deer all evening long. Decided to do boots on the ground scouting and walked transition lines, field edges and creeks. Ended up finding the best buck sign I’ve seen this season!

Huge buck poop, beds and rubs in overgrown CRP grass!

Found my first balloon (not much sign near it, which contradicts everything I’ve seen about balloons on here lol)

Now to figure out how to come in and hunt the buck that’s leaving behind all this sign!

Great y’all are finding good acorn crops. Pretty much everywhere I’ve been has been a wasteland. Most trees have none, a few have enough to notice but not enough to be a draw.

We’ve got so many acorns in the areas I’ve been hunting that it’s a problem. Wish I could send half your way!
