I shoot an HHA single pin set to 20. Ive never dialed it up yet in the field, but I dont plan on ever shooting past 30 yards.

Right about 500 grains, 20,40, 50. 20 and 40 pins line up pretty well top and bottom of vitals at 30 to center punch them. Won't shoot a deer out past 30. Farther pins are for practice and follow-up if I get an arrow in one that doesn't fall in sight, helped me last year. Stopped carrying a range finder because I just didn't like putzing with it and thinking I needed to range before I shot, cost me a good buck. Haven't had any issue since, shoot pretty darn flat to 30 and easy enough to gauge from there in without ranging.

I have about a season's worth of arrows left on my current set-up. Too busy this year to play, probably move towards heavier/higher FOC next year (and by then be behind whatever the latest and greatest is next year!).

520 grains
20, 30, 40, 50, 60

For hunting I only use my first two pins which makes it simple. The other three are for shooting 3D and making bets with buddies.

20,30,40,50,60 only because I was going out west occasionally for elk. Practiced at 60 in the backyard, makes those 20-25 yard encounters I usually set up for "chip shots".

I use an adjustable single pin sight and for the most part leave it at 20. In some cases I will change it but I'd say at least 75% of the time it stays at 20. Used to shoot a 3 pin set at 20, 30 and 40 but have shot an adjustable single pin since 2014 and don't see myself going back anytime soon.

I’m not sure what my arrows weigh, but I’m in the upper 80s on KE which is a tremendous jump from my last rig. I have a long draw to help the speed push my 29” Victory TKOs through about anything..

I shoot 20-30-40-50-60. Will not likely use the bottom two even if given the opportunity

I made the jump from 450 grains last year to 570 grains this year.
I also went to 15-25-35-45 yard pins, after using 20-30-40 last year.
I have determined my ideal shots are 25 yards or less, and my absolute max under perfect conditions would be 35 yards with my set up... really more like 30...
I had a 5 pin sight, but my 5th pin was in the way so I had it removed. I'm using a 4th pin just to target practice out to greater distances.

I switches to a single pin slider this year and love it. I also went to a heavier arrow,570 grains. I have the sight
set to 25 and will use that from 1 to 30 yds. i have to aim 4" high at 30 and 2" low at 20,3" at 10. That is not much change in point of aim in my opinion.
After 30 yds i would have to adjust the sight to the ranged distance. I do not plan on shooting beyond thirty at a deer. Practice i shoot out to 65.
