I've done that before and know that "letdown" feeling but terrific job! Definitely put in the work and like Dan said, it's not the size of the bird that counts it's the size of the hunt! Great job Rick!

Yup, similar thing happened to me a few years ago also. The jake I shot gobbled like a full adult gobbler. Bet my heart rate was really high at the time also, lol !
