Church this morning

Unread postby dan » Mon May 25, 2020 10:05 pm

I went to bed last night planning on spending today with Carol just kicking back and enjoying memorial day. I slept last night with the window open since it was so warm. I awoke this morning with the sound of birds and the musty smell of the outdoors wafting thru the room. It was as if the morning fog grew arms and was pulling me towards the woods. Almost as if an unconscious act, I fluidly and quietly got dressed and headed out. I'm sure Carol will forgive me, as she has done so many times before. My wrestless soul needs some time with God this morning, and the woods is my church, the sunrise his pulpet, the birds, and critters are the congregation. Its where I do my best soul searching.

I could use some of that time in the woods right now.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.
