Never thought about that lol but that's not a bad idea. I'm hoping to just find an area that holds potential to hold a good concentration of deer and start one there. I think in the beast Facebook group I've heard of some guys using a preorbidal scent on the licking branch.

I cut some of the hide of the forehead of a deer i shoot and freeze it. Then when I'm ready to start scrapes I'll rub the licking branch with that patch of fur and add some deer P in the scrape.

For Intel many things work great! Corn piles, mock scrapes, mineral licks, horizontal rubs, wife’s thong on a rope etc....
For hunting purposes I like the element of surprise on my side and not a spot I’ve been checking cams. For me a giant spot of kicked up fresh dark topsoil in my #1 shot lane works better than anything. Atleast for me...
