Re: 410 and TSS
Hello,
This is my 1st post. New to the group. I took my father out turkey hunting last year. I gave him my 12ga. To use, and I carried a 410 w TSS shot. I never got to use it. But while I was patterning it before season, I couldn't believe the lethal reach it had. I have no doubt this is a great option. Lot lighter than my 12ga.
I bought TSS for my 12 just last week.

I was just watching youtube videos on this last week. Looks like an okay combo depending on the loads, but I'm personally not really sure I'd take the gamble on it out past 30 yards.
Speed is fine...Accuracy is final.

If you are ok paying $5/shell for .410, why not pay $7/shell for 20 gauge and easily shoot out to 40+ with no problem?
You can see my bias, I’m not a fan of expensive loads when Longbeards XR exist at $2/shell and lay them flat at 40 yards.

Bowhunting is not for the faint of heart. But fortune favors the bowed.
