My boy this morning on the last day of the IL season on public! This was his 10th day hunting (4 days of youth). He had a tough miss on day 4 and some close calls but managed to take this big Tom this morning!

I had a slow season until the last week. I went to some public land for a last try and the gobblers were fired up.
Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison. Genesis 27:3

Re: 2020 TURKEY LINE UP...
Here is my 2020 spring turkey. Just a Jake but it was several years since I got my last one. Was never to hardcore of a turkey hunter was more less something I just did to pass the time in between deer season but this bird got me fired up and really got me going into turkey hunting.
Shot him at about 5:20 a.m. He flew right off the roost down to my decoy and I shot him. Was a quick hunt but exciting because I didn’t even know he along with several others were roosting right above me.
