2019 buck story: popped this buck at 15 yards, give-or-take, through a tree while ground hunting. Nov 11th I think. -11F. Zombie rut buck walked right by me heading into an area where does like to bed. Buck had 5 points on one beam that I could see. I added brows and figured 6 to a side... might be a 12pt! -- pulled the trigger. Nope. No brows. And only 3 on the other side.

Had a good fall shooting ruffies, pheasants, and ducks. Stuck a pretty solid buck in the scapula with my bow unfortunately, in December. Not a hard shot but I aimed "vital v" on a broadside shot, on the ground. He dipped, I missed a couple inches high. Net of story, I screwed up and did not get that buck. I wish I had put it in his lungs like a smart hunter might have. Helped a friend of mine kill his biggest buck. He did all the work. I just helped with the weapon choice earlier in the year and helped field dress the buck and drag it up a ravine when he shot it.
Mainly just reposting this to see if I can get pics hosted on "postimg" loading correctly. I posted same pics/story to the "Lineup" but the pics aren't loading right. Maybe they're just loading slowly.
