I did some spring scouting in the marsh today. I found a number of beds under trees, and the crap on some of the beds looked more like dog crap but had corn in it. Lots of deer tracks around. On one tree, it had a 90* bend and at about head height, it had a similar pile of crap. Any idea what it’s from?
2nd pic is in a bed.

Re: What created this?
Thanks all for the info. No bear close to here, actually there have been some, but this is a little south for them in this area. Coon makes the most sense. It was a good scouting run, there are a couple other guys in the area, found an old baker tree stand, a pool ladder set up as a platform, and a ladder stand left from gun season. Very frustrating when guys leave them out there, but I’ll make it work. Good tracks, confirmed beds, ect.....
