Great video. I watched it this morning on your Facebook page. Exciting stuff. He looked like he had some weight to him.

remington 7600 carbine chambered for 30-06.
Best thing about Remington slide actions is the safety is right where God intended them to be.
I have a 760 in 35 Remington and 30.06 I'd like to find a carbine

Liked video. Thanks for taking time to put it out there.

very cool Todd. Just watched it with the volume off because someone next to me was watching the news and wouldn't want to interrupt that. I will watch again tomorrow with the volume and get you another view.

Still better with sound. What kind of camera are you using? And where/how did you mount it?
For walking around I thought it was pretty stable, and not bouncing around.

It's a go pro mounted on my hat
I've got a bunch of test videos and info on the camera and mounts on the misty river trackers base camp Facebook page.

Thanks I was just checking it out on your Nov 29 live feed. That showed it pretty good. The other gentlemen had it right to his hat in the Dec 2. I was surprised watching your ontario tracking hunt how it seemed that it was attached at top of your shoulder as it didn't seem to move as much as I thought someone's head would.

the go pro 7 and 8 have fantastic stabilization. they called the 7 a "gimbal killer" when it came out. the 8 is supposed to be a bit better. im thinking about running 2 cams on me next year. one on my shoulder for most footage which will give me even more stable footage and a hat cam for the kill shot. the shoulder mount will not be pointed the right way when I take a shot.

Cool. How long was that track? I assume there was some time edited out.

Never mind. I just heard at the end it was a 1/2 mile track.

Re: Video of a buck I tracked last season
Thanks for posting. Been considering a late season hunt in addition to the Nov trip. Tracking looks to be a blast.
