Re: 2020 Shed Thread
Stumbled across this dandy Appalachian mountain buck shed.
Would be nice to get a shot at a this guy this fall!!! I’d be interested to know what the other half of this rack looks like

3 more the other day. 12 for year, all but 1 from public land. Not sure why the one uploaded upside down.

Re: 2020 Shed Thread
Walked about 3 miles saturday, and around 2.5 yesterday. Found this little one within the first 10 minutes yesterday, but that was it for the weekend.

Found a match set today to a big 4 point side I found in 2014. Chewed up pretty good, but 100% sure it's the match. Crazy as I walk that area every year and scoured it in 2014 looking for match. Within 75 yard of oringal.

Going to be a slow shed year for me. The majority are still holding or have recently dropped and green up is near. Found this set after 9 miles of turkey hunting this morning.

Found this dead head this morning. No history with this particular buck. I was afraid it was the one I was after last fall but this ones bigger. Just got permission for this property this past fall.

Re: 2020 Shed Thread
Man that's a nice find but too bad he wont be around next year to hunt. I hate to see them go like that he was a dandy. Perhaps that property will hold others. I would be excited to hunt it. Looks like he had laid for awhile so the pressure must've pretty low or none at all in that spot.

That thing could rub one he!! of tree. Doesn’t look like it’s been chewed up much if any at all.

Chewed on just a little bit but not bad. I couldn't believe it cause I know it's been there a while as clean as it was.

Post the results after you tape him. I'm curious as to how big that dandy is. Any ideas on how your going to clean him up and preserve it?
