Re: 2020 Shed Thread
10 miles done this year so far. I have yet to stumbled upon a shed so far this season. Pictures are showing me now that a little less then half are still holding. A buddy found a half rack while with me this year.

I've probably put in the same give or take, although I've found 2...I keep seeing so many bucks still holding I haven't started to get discouraged yet.

Re: 2020 Shed Thread
Found a couple more today. Wind was really blowing today and being in the woods wasn’t the best idea. Had a top break out of a tree not to far away from where I was walking.

Hopefully more will drop. Does anyone ever much success in the fall hunting areas where they find sheds ? . I tend to notice alot of deer heard up in area around food and usually throw the best bedding areas out the window. Has anyone else noticed this pattern ?
No snow in Ontario?? Just started seeing some bare spots here in Wisconsin last week.

Made it out with the critter today. First time in a long time.we walked about 6 miles and not much of anything until I checked the bedding area I killed my buck out of this year. So I hated to see this but stuff happens.

Re: 2020 Shed Thread
So far I've found 3 in Ohio, though my buddies who are still running cams have a lot of bucks still carrying. So I haven't put much time in here yet.
Went out to Iowa last Friday for a long weekend to scout and shed hunt. I know it was a bit early over there as well but I did find 6 antlers. Last year I went mid March and again a couple weeks later in April and you couldn't find a spot to walk without boot tracks. Shed hunting pressure in Iowa is insane.

4 more plus a deadhead.
Past 3 weekends collection. Still a good majority holding in pockets. Seems like North is where they are really collecting.

Re: 2020 Shed Thread
Got out for a bit today. I found one old 4pt shed apparently the wife and I missed last year?? Also found a dandy dead buck that after measuring came to 144 2/8”, pretty good for an 8 pointer! I’ll probably get a euro camo dipped mount done.

Re: 2020 Shed Thread
I put in about 6-7 miles on Saturday, and didn't find a thing. I didn't even jump any deer either, which I found more odd than not finding a shed. I did see a couple of gobblers strutting though, so that was cool.
