Missouri public land scouting trip

Unread postby Johnyd883 » Tue Feb 11, 2020 3:34 am

Hi guys hows it going?
I'm going to plan a post season scouting trip to northern Missouri close to the Iowa line, but my question is when does the snow melt up that way? I want to go up their and scout for rut sign and beds but am not used to dealing with the snow. I have time to go up their in 2 weeks but will their still be snow everywhere? Thanks for the help in advance!

There shouldn't be much snow left up there right now if any after the warm weekend. Hard to say what will be there in 2 weeks though.

Im around 1 hr from the MO border on the IA side. Most of it will be gone by tommorow. The 10 day forecast looks good but you might wanna check it in the zip code your thinking about just to be sure.
