Re: 2020 Scouting Reports
Had to put hunting on the back burner for a bit due to Christmas festivities but found time this afternoon to walk around a really small spot.. Found 2 scrapes opened up in the snow (day or 2 old). Lots of feeding close by. Should be able to get out in a couple days, however that is prolly couple days too late...

Re: 2020 Scouting Reports
Pulled a couple cameras that's been soaking for a couple months and had several good deer on them, so based on directions of travel i scouted new potential bedding areas and I think I've got one of the giants home range narrowed down. I found a bunch of big rubs on the outskirts of one of them and big tracks. I hung a couple more cameras around and we're fixing to have 2 days and 4"-6" of rain so hopefully after it and the initial flood that will come I'm gonna make a couple late season sits.

Re: 2020 Scouting Reports
Been hard at it to try and fill my last buck tag but today I decided to pull the last two cams I had soaking on a piece. Rain set in about mid day so spent the morning retrieving. I haven’t spent much of my season at this location because I wasn’t finding the sign of shooter material I was hoping for by the second week of November. Then of course the last camera pull stung a little bit. I’ve got history with this buck starting in ‘17. He’s been a straight 8 every season so far but he must have dinged his right side in velvet sprouting a few extras. Clearly not as strong length wise in comparison with his left side. Plan to throw some hunts at this guy when conditions allow in the final two weeks of season.
