Any Unique finds to share?
Muddy’s barbed wire shed got me thinking about unique shed finds and I was wondering if anyone had any unique shed finds to share? Something you just simply don’t ever see or something you just don’t see very often.
I really only have one find that I would consider unique. The reason I consider them unique is because they provide way more questions than answers more than any shed I’ve ever found. Like how did the one buck initially get tangled in the hay net? Or how long did one of them walk around with the other ones antler constantly dangling off his head and banging off his face? And the single most perplexing question to me.......What in the world were these 2 bucks doing in order to get 2 RIGHT SIDES STUCK TOGETHER and get them that tangled up? A right and left side stuck together would make waaaaay more sense. One things for sure I’ve pulled on these things hard many times and I assure you without cutting the hay net off they ain’t coming apart.

Again Muddy that shed is super cool. It’s surprising to me just how many times that barbed wire is wrapped around there. Had you ever seen this buck on the hoof with the barbed wire or was it something that happened between season and him shedding out?

Re: Any Unique finds to share?
I found a shed laying in a creek by my grandpas farm a few years back. I was looking for trout holes. Couldnt believe it. The water was only about 6 inches deep in that spot. It is stained so dark i wonder how long it laid in there. Ill have to find it and snap a pic.

Muddy that is freakin awesome!
I have one laying in the shed somewhere that has the chisel plow marks in it from getting him when the field was getting worked up. I should see if I can find it.

How bad do you want it?

Found a like new buck knife 119 on the side of the road when shed hunting last weekend. Did I mention I found a good shed too? What are the odds?

Sorry, didn't see your post.
I found this shed on a random shed hunt in a state park. Totally accidental.

I know this is a old post but I thought you guys and gals might like to see this small white tail shed. The small point is over a inch so it is five points with a couple small stickers on the base.

Coolest finds I've found a fresh set with a hanger, and a double drop tine whitetail!

This shed was from two years ago and had been tilled around the corn field a few times unfortunately, but one of my biggest. Found it on my way out for a late season sit in 2022.
