Bedding vs duck hunters

For those of you that hunt marsh or swamp areas. How do you find good bedding areas after some hunting seasons come in? Iv found a few before the season comes in but early duck comes in before deer and it gets hit hard. The public I hunt the most is a big attraction for waterfowl hunters (meself included) anyhow this public piece is long and not very wide so it's not like you can beat the parking lot hunters deeper. It is just over 5,000 acres and I know that's a lot of land but it seems pretty easy access to the majority of spots then the harder spots that may take a kayak or crossing some water seems to be the target area for waterfowl hunters. I'm not trying to bash the waterfowl hunters by any means but curious how you guys find bedding under similar conditions.
