My gosh is it quiet this am
Haven’t seen a deer. Can’t even pretend I thought that I may have even seen one.
Thankfully the skeeters have been a minor nuisance.

Maybe the deer have the post Christmas blues :lol:

At least you are in a tree. I’m at LEGO land. The 3rd and final round of hunting season is about to begin though

Yes it has been quiet all weekend. The deer have been moving well before and after daylight. The rain did not help either.

We have had a slow steady rain all weekend. This evening about a hour before dark sun came out.

Those quite mornings are nice. But, you are almost afraid to move it is so quite and still. I like a slow steady wind.

Ended up seeing a single spike yesterday.

Hoping the cold snap will change things.

I was in the rain Sat afternoon and Sunday am - got 2 newbies w me.

1 shot a doe and saw 5 others, other saw 0. I saw 2 flocks of turkeys, about 20 total.

Walked a 7 mile loop yesterday didn’t see hide nor hair. Just a couple fat cotton mouths.
