It's taken me a while to get around to the edit, but it's finally complete. This is the hunt for my 2019 early season Wisconsin archery buck. I hope you like it.

Did it end up being a one lung hit?

The initial blood looked really good, didn't expect you to bump him. Unless I see them drop, I'm nervous until I can wrap my hands around them.

It was, indeed. He ended up running about 100-yards from the wound bed before piling up. Based on the way he was laying I imagined him to have stiffened up on all fours and fell over when he kicked the bucket. He was likely dead within four hours we guessed from initial shot.
