Thermal Monocular for Insertion
I've been inserting (early AM) into a small parcel property 20-30 acres, on several occasions Ive bumped deer on the limited access points. I'm thinking of investing into a thermal monocular. I used advanced binoculars and long range units in the Army and wondered if anyone has used the civilian models for night or day time insertion.

Check your local regulations. Not sure that would be legal

At least this one didn’t involve milk.

Screw the thermals. I'm going to start inserting via Blackhawk and fast rope straight into my pre-set stands.
Speed is fine...Accuracy is final.

I use thermal for hunting yotes. Both my scope and mono are pulsar. Mono is pulsar XP50. You can easily identify deer for 500 hundreds yards plus in a field. Works in cover too but the thicker the cover the harder to spot animals. Not cheap to use just to not get busted by deer though. Mine has helped recover deer where blood is was lost too.

I've been interested, color blindness and blood trails don't mix. I've heard military tech exist, just outta my range so far.
A game warden told me how velvet shows up on thermal allowing better census. That's who I'd ask.
