CuddeLink for areas without cell service?
I started hunting a piece of public this year that is really deep in the mountains and very hard to get to. I took several cameras in there with me and found great sign and hung cams. I ended up tagging out on Nov. 10 in another area so I didn’t get to keep hunting. I went and checked my cameras this weekend and saw multiple big bucks in daylight all throughout November. I’m wanting to put some cameras in there where I can get intel before I fall off the mountain so I know I’m in the right vicinity. There’s no cell service there so I’m thinking about the CuddeLink so I could have 5 cameras on different ridges and the home camera on top of the mountain and just check before I drop off to hunt. Anybody have any experience with these?

They work great but you need to get an external battery pack to get good battery life. Either solar or a dual battery bank.

Does the solar seem to work pretty well?

If it is in a food plot where it gets sunlight pretty much all day. If in the woods I would go with the dual battery banks. I am going to switch a couple of my solar ones to them this year. Most guys are buying the Rayovac High Energy D battiers on Ebay. Here is the dual battery bank. https://farmsteadoutdoors.com/product/c ... dels-3563/

Bass pro has em on sale 2 for $300 right now and they are saying something about a free cell transmitter/cam. I'm having trouble resisting this.
Normally the cams are $250, $750 for 4 pack of cams... and they sell a home base for $135.
I just don't want to get pics on my cell phone - the home base idea and several cams in the woods is excellent for me. All this for a lone 3-5 day WMA quota hunt ever year or two...
