Short Intro
Hello! I'm a public land hunter from the MN metro area. I've had a tough season this year (it's not over!) and that's caused me to seek out some properties and areas that I haven't hunted in the past. Most notably marshes and swamps. Google search has brought me here, and I've been reading up on a few things waiting for my registration to come through.
I mostly expect to take this coming offseason to learn everything that I can about this hunting style, hoping that will bring me more deer sightings and less people / pressure.
I'll be heading out for my first marsh hunt on Friday and looking forward to it! Looking forward to learning all that I can here.

Welcome! I lived in that area for a bit also. There's a lot of hill country on State Forest/WMA ground in the SE part of the state along the Mississippi and its tributaries if you're willing to drive a bit that's worth a look as well. If you have a canoe or kayak even better, you can get deeper than most others, especially for early bow season. Not sure what it looks like these days as I believe that is an area hit hard by CWD

Welcome to Hunting Beast Forum!

I live to release an arrow and watch woods grow into chaos and then grow quite as a mouse in just seconds.
