How to hunt this spot?
Jumped a nice one yesterday while still hunting-scouting for future. Area is all red brush with that yellow canary grass and also this trees or shrubs that are small 1 to two inch diameter that are thick and accompany the red brush. A few large trees scattered throughout the swamp/marsh. Very noisy walking. Only way I think I can hunt this is morning and getting set up real early to beat deer before they get in their to bed. Afternoon Hunts seem useless as its to noisy to get back to the big trees necessary to hang a stand. What do you experienced marsh/swamp hunters think?

Is there anywhere to put an observation stand so you can see what he may be doing without disturbing him? Could be your best bet to get some intel first instead of guessing and possibly ruining it too soon. Also, don’t rule out hunting from the ground, especially in the marsh. I’ve had several opportunities this year on a giant but haven’t sealed the deal yet. Fun way to hunt

Re: How to hunt this spot?
Are there any deer trails on the outer edge around the red brush and small diameter trees? I have an area similar to this that I’ve been scouting. I actually found access going back to bedding around the boarder of all of the red brush and small diameter trees where the canary grass meets that I can walk back silent to get close. Gets wet in spots, but the canary grass makes it pretty quiet.
