Had you heard anything about the buck before it was shot?

No... But there are a lot of trail cam photo's surfacing from locals that were seeing it.

Just my opinion.

(And I'd bet that the guy who shot this one probably wouldn't object to it being examined, X-rayed, etc. either.)

lol I won't turn this into "that" thread. But maybe someday we can discuss all the proof that was ignored. I just thought the way this one came out of the head low, sweeping & wide that it reminded me of that other buck.
You cannot invade mainland America. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass.

Yeah, I'm kinda new here, and really don't know how most of the other Hunting Beast members feel about the Rampola thing so I probably shouldn't have said anything; I don't like to stir up trouble.

(But that doesn't mean I have to believe it isn't a hoax!) :snooty:

That Iowa buck is insane. Blows my mind every year with the absolute monsters that are killed.

the question is what do you look for in next years buck, once you got a record breaker this year. That buck is awesome The hunter has a good hunting story to tell about it now for years to come.

IMO if it were me, I would pretend that the record buck didn't exist and would shoot what I would have shot if I hadn't shot the record buck.

If this wasn't posted on this forum (particulary, by Dan himself) I wouldn't believe that was real

I've never seen anything like that in my 50 years

Dumbfounded.
