That’s awesome

Re: Shot locally near me...
The 1st one shot near my place was taken by a family that owns an egg farm. Word around town is that they hired a helicopter to help find the buck in the marsh where it died

I guess it's a good thing they were able to cough up the (significant) cash to rent a chopper and recover the deer, rather than losing it.
But if I know anything about people, they'll soon have rumors floating around that they shot it from a helicopter, etc...
All those deer are impressive but that palmated one is crazy unusual.
I'd like to hear more about it too.
Looks like the pic was taken at a taxidermy shop.

Giants. I’m amazed that those wide and tall guys can make their ways around the woods. I’ll be looking for that story of the first one in my local paper.

I'd rather shoot one of those big palmated moose deer than the state record.

Had you heard anything about the buck before it was shot?

Re: Shot locally near me...
The way that rack comes out low & wide from the head that buck from Wisconsin reminds me of a buck from Traverse City many moons ago

You cannot invade mainland America. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass.
