Does anyone have any unique ideas for mounting your antlers? I seem to have enough basic plaque mounts with different leather, etc. I'm looking for a unique way to mount the antlers on my smaller bucks.
I've seen the buck stumps but I'm a little mixed on how I like them. http://buckstumps.com/Buckstump-bark-base.htm
Anyone else have any ideas?

Re: Antler Mounts?
I don't have any unique ideas (I still mount my little racks as standard antler mounts covered with leather or felt and braided cord around the burrs) but I thought I would put few other ideas out here for people to consider.
You could use a TrophyMate (http://www.trophymate.us/) or make some similar small pedestals to mount the antlers on. With several of them you could display them on a mantle, on top of an entertainment center, etc.
You could buy some reproduction skulls to make European mounts out of them.
You could mount them as regular antler mounts and put them on wood plaques of the state you shot them in.
I have seen wood plaques with wooden broadheads, shotshells, or rifle cartridges attached to them. I believe they are made by Bluff Country Woodworks LLC in Fountain City, WI.
That's about all I can up with right now.
If anybody else has some ideas or pictures please post as I would like to see them too.

Re: Antler Mounts?
Several of my buddies do Euro skull mounts of their deer and then screw them to an old cedar tree trunk. It is about 6 feet tall and in the corner of their man caves, they look sweet when you get them filled up with racks!
