my best shed

Unread postby mike_mc » Sun Jan 02, 2011 5:14 pm

A neighbor told my dad that he a saw a big buck feeding in a soybean fields on the family farm, so I sat watching it and was surprised to see him and 2 nice nine points come out of the corn. About a week later I was hanging a stand and crossed some big tracks about a half mile away, so I set up my cam.

In the spring my dad had heart surgery, so I spent most of my free time picking up his firewood. But I did get a couple of hours to shed hunt.

I got about 5 pictures of him in 2008 and 5 in 2009. He would only stick around for one picture and usually looking at it. Every picture I got of him was in a different spot. He never showed up in 2010 so I assume he died.
