Dan has mentioned marsh skis before, I was curious so I did a search. Didn't find much about them.

Hmmm... My definition of marsh ski's might be skewed, but what I was reffering to is more like snowshoe size.

I have some real Marsh ski's that are about 13 ft long and wide. Made out of a light weight wood and painted olive drab. My grandfather used to use them to hunt horicon and poygan for ducks. I have used them a few times, seem to work alright but the only way you can really get them is if you make them.
