Unread postby Dor » Sat Dec 18, 2010 7:37 am

For those that missed it in my birthday thread. (most i'm sure) :D

I didn't take a doe, but did post the following showing how I get around in the winter sometimes. :D

You can barely see the standing corn in this pack below the tower.

So, no harvest pics or really anything to cool, but as promised some pics from the hunt. I had a great b-day! Thanks for the well wishes.

I'm going to have to try that Dor. I was just hunting in knee deep snow. I think a sled would help a lot. Especially if it keeps me from getting sweated up.

I decided to skip going to my family's land for a late season trip this year because of the amount of snow and just do some hunting around home. Well I went out yesterday, and after a couple hundred yards of walking through thigh-deep snow, I gave up. I think a sled and a pair of snow shoes would be the way to go for years like this..

I was just curious if you had some and could suggest some or anything..
