Glove Buck

Unread postby Dabowhunter » Mon Nov 29, 2010 4:13 am

Shot this buck on Sunday Nov. 21st at 1212 pm. I was checking football scores on my phone when I caught a glimpse of something outside. I had to hurry up as he was rapidly heading toward the thick pines. So as I stood up to get in position I accidently dropped one of my gloves. It landed on the floor with a thud. The noise (amplified in the enclosed penthouse stand)stopped the buck in his tracks. He stood looking for the source of the noise, giving me ample time to prepare my shot.
Its funny how most times the smallest of mistakes costs us opportunities than another time a mistake closes the deal.

Congrats on that one. Know what you mean, about it goes your way sometimes and not others. The bad luck stories are still fun to share just not fun to live.

Glad this one ended the way it did for you.

There's no love without the glove.. Nice one!
A buck will see you three times, and hear you twice, but he's only gonna smell you once.
