im still at it

Unread postby tim » Wed Nov 17, 2010 8:54 am

7 days into my vacation i got sick, real sick. continued to hunt even though coughing and crap, but couldnt not be out. managed to get sicker and came home on saturday. managed to kill a 9pt. buck on nov.2nd, definately not the buck i was hoping for but am happy to have gotten one . ended up in er on sunday . now im still hitting the woods in kenosha hoping to fill a buck tag. then back up to vernon for gun season. will post pics at later time ( i should say ill get my wife to post em, haha). do have many pics of this buck i killed and was planning on passing him, i didnt confIrm what buck he was before dropping the hammer, coincidentally i have photos of another buck just like mine but BIGGER. thought it was him at first but something just didnt seem right--too small  anyway so got out photos and sure enough same configuration. like i said i feel lucky getting one this year. will post full story with pics eventually. good luck gun season all who participate!!! be safe

Congrats on the buck, tim. Always a big fear to get sick during a huntin' trip, glad you survived and found success. Good luck during gun season on one of those Vernon slobs ;)

Congrats on your buck and your persistence. I can hunt injured but am a weiner when I am sick.
