Bummer about losing access but at lease you have an awesome memory and animal! Its so cool to hear of success that guys have from mobile scouting and understanding how to read terrain features that will produce bucks. Very impressed!

Bucky wrote:Property was for sale... after I shot the deer a buyer called me and discussed the property... he later purchased it. This was the third 180 class animal shot off the property in 12yrs. I wish I lived closer and had the $$$... I would have bought it!

At least you got to hunt it 1 year and took that buck off from it!!!! Wonder how much you killing that buck tipped the scales so the buyer decided to pull the trigger and buy.

The property was a gold mine... just needed to be set up with yr round food... had 30 or 40 tillable acres too...

Heck, if it wasn't for this buck, I would have never got to meet Bucky!

I hope to share a camp with him one day again. Surely is a BOAL!!

Best part of getting lucky enough to shoot this animal... was to be able to share the hunt with a good buddy.... and then afterward get to know Spy and Joe G. It was a great adventure to both MO and IL and I highly suggest if you get the chance... GO.

If you want to kill a deer you have to be in the woods.
