The perfect setup

Unread postby Treejunkie » Mon Nov 08, 2010 1:28 pm

I thought for sure tonight was my night. After counting 27 turkeys walk around me for over an hour....boy those things are noisy....I had 3 fawns come out eating in my food plot. After that 1 adult doe followed by a fawn after another.

After having 16 deer in my food plot I thought for sure it was only a matter of time and Mr. Big would show. Instead Mr. 1.5 yr old showed up chasing everything in sight.

On the good note, he did clear my food plot for me in order to get down and make a hasty retreat without being seen or heard.

At least I am seeing deer and seem to be in the right location. 8-)

i love turkey hunting but this time of year i hate when they are roosted around by me while bowhunting...i think they make so much noise the deer dont feel comfortable around them..especially those mature bucks!
