Name That Artist!

Unread postby Sam Ubl » Fri Sep 17, 2010 5:58 am

Anyone familiar with this painting? Anyone know the name of the artist? I think the painting is called, "Complete Pass Through" or something to that effect, but I can't find it anywhere online... Anyways, it's one of my favorites!

Post your favorite whitetail print and give a shoutout to that artist - let's see who has the most fans.

There is a website called Art Barbarians which is MN based company that sells hunting and fishing prints.... There is a whole series surrounding the pass through shot by this same artist, it includes whitetail, bear, mule deer, etc. etc.

Anyways this website is enormous with alot of different wildlife/hunting/fishing prints. Just google art barbarians.

I know the owner of Art Barbarians - he is on the left of both pics on the main website page. He framed a print for me and will do more in the future as he is amazingly talented. He's friends with Michael Seive and hunts on Michael's southern MN farm every year.

I remember the artist coming to the Lone wolf booth excited to show Andrae that print. I believe I saw a copy of it framed on Andraes wall at a later date... Not sure if Andrae bought it, or the guy gave it to him.

Those are some awesome paintings! Wish I could afford all of them!

An artist I just recently found out about is Larry Zach. He has some AMAZING paintings, and most (possibly all?) of the bucks in his paintings are real bucks..his website has the stories behind all the bucks in his paintings.

Googling his name will bring up his page, although the last time I checked it was under construction so you couldn't see all the paintings..might be done by now though..check him out.
