Might be good practise for you to get you ready for bump and dump on a mature buck, but does and bucks react differently so i don't know if you would get the same results........Besides if you have alot of does in your area, why spook them to try and hunt them, if you're set up right you should not have a problem killing a doe w/o the bump.

I have done what I call dump and shoot does a few times. One morning I was hunting near a bedding area and didn't see much action. On my way out of the woods I jumped some deer and had a stand right in that area so I said what the heck and hunted it. 10 minutes later the does strolled back in and I had a nice easy 10 yard chip shot.

I also did this one other time, came over a hill where I wanted to setup and I see a doe and two fawns take off. Thought about trying another spot but said heck with it and setup right away, again 10 or 15 minutes later I shot the doe as they came right back.

This would never work on bucks and more than likely these deer were feeding in the area and after I chased them off they slowly fed back. I should also note this happened earlier in the seaons so they probably didn't experience a ton of pressure.

Does like bucks like areas they know well and are usually there for a reason!
